Category notes are useful if you want to remember something in particular about that specific category. You may write down a payment arrangement you've made, a note specifying what type of activity that category is meant for, or maybe just a small comment to help jog your memory when the category is revisited later.
To add a note to your category, hover over any category row on the Budget screen. You will see a sticky note icon appear beside the name.
Click the icon to open up the dialog box. Enter the text you'd like to save, and press Apply Changes.
When a note exists on a category, the sticky note icon will be permanently visible until the note is cleared out.
To view, edit, or erase the note, simply click on the sticky note icon again and repeat these steps.
